It would be a shame to do all that work... & then fake it or take the easy way out.

    I vote for "A".

    (I love the concept)

I like the artist's rendering.......The only concern with a folding top is that it's so clumsy when folded.Living in So. Cal. you might consider a lift off aluminum framed top....Mike

Extremely cool, doing something original and tasteful on a '32 is not an easy task. I think either A or C, just depends on whether you want an open or closed car.

Folding top would be really cool but not easy.....

The roof on my T is a fake but has fooled a lot of people so thats the easy way out!!

That is one fine looking concept! The top must fold though, anything else just seems like second rate. I've been interested in a similar concept, for my early Chevrolet. The roof is a separate piece already, i must see if i can post a better view than i have, so the fine artists on the HAMB,can have a stab at it.;)

Maybe some sort of sliding rag top...kinda like gasit's idea in the last art challenge.

It might be kinda hard to get the bows to make the corner at the back doors though.

You could call it a "Sport Sedan". The top never folded on a Sport coupe and nobody ever called it a fake.

Personally I think they look like **** when folded and I'd never put it down if I could. Think VW convertible with the top down.:D

It really doesn't matter, you've got Steve's art, that should do it!

The auto factories have made faux tops in the past as well as, I'm sure, now. Why not build a solid top and utilize an aftermarket slider? The front edge of the rag would go to the windshield header and the sides would be at the "factory" hem lines. The whole schpeel would bunch between the rearmost "bow" and the one just ahead of it. Adding an extra bow (4 instead of 3) would allow the use of a 3 fold VW style top.

Whatever, it's gonna make for an awesome foor-door hot rod!!
