NOOB in need of a radiator

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by zombiescustoms, Jan 8, 2008.

  1. Just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone knows where I can pick up a 4-5" chopped 32 radiator set up for a small block with the filler still in the shell??

Walker makes great radiators, but the filler is under the hood. Why do you need the stock filler? Just for looks?

  3. The car was originally built in 1964 and I am trying to keep the look of how it was built then, and it has no hood to cover up the "donkey ****" looking filler thats on most radiators.

I am ***uming the original isn't repairable? or missing? How about buying a walker and having a local rad. shop cutomize it to fit where you want. I have a rad. guy here in NJ that does all kinds of crazy jobs for me. I'm sure you can find a guy there to do the same. blocking off the filler and putting it back in the shell should't be a big deal.

There is a local shop, Superior Radiator near me that sells radiators on E-bay. Do a search for 32 grill shell and he'll come up. All they do is custom stuff at at least 1/2 the price of a Walker.
