I dunno, loosing a drag race with a supersonic fighter plane ain't nothing to be ashamed of, especially when you managed to finish in the same time zone.

Every time I see a clip of their show, I love Top Gear more and more. Them Brits ain't all bad I suppose.

Well, in the skinny little guy's defense, things went all pear shaped 'cause a tire came apart. It's not like he freaked out and it got away from him, the thing just decided to spontaneously become a three wheeler without asking permission. He took it like a man though.

Did the crash damage him very badly? They don't talk about him getting hurt, but to take a tumble like that at nearly 300 mph, you'd think he'd have come out of it with more than just soiled underoos.

 

HOLY ****! Can you amagine how much G-force was on that pilot on the vertical down-flight?I've been in fast planes before, and you wanna puke!

That car will actually do over 250mph! There was a video going around the web a few months back where a English fellow was putting it through it's paces. As he was doing his run he was listing off all sorts of facts and technical data about the car - very impressive! The car has more than 1000hp and at full speed will burn through a set of tires in 15 minutes. But that's okay because it will run out of gas after 13 minutes.

Sorry, WATCH TOP GEAR!!! It is a GREAT car show. Never ceases to amaze me with the access they have to all things automotive and cool, and they always make me laugh. The show is like jack*** with cars....
