Welcome Mike. Gordy Brown's Cherry Hill runs about 10 years or so ago. Keith and Cheryl Adams here, Ol Blue 49 Ford. I'm glad you're doing well, ya had us scared for awhile there. Gordy and Carol are doing fine I talked to him just last week. Take care and I hope we meet up again someday.
[ QUOTE ] What does she look like today? [/ QUOTE ] not a whole lot different, couple coats of primer, big Chevy where the Olds used to be and a tire change or two, still unfinished but still having fun with it. the guys here are probably getting tired of seeing it, I must have posted a thousand pictures of it! this picture is from a couple weeks ago, but to see what it looks like today go here
Great to hear from you Keith. I really do think of you often and I'm up to 220 now. Damn near twice the size when I was sick. No lungs tho. I see Gordie about twice a year and I even stopped and saw Jimmie Coyle a year ago as he is right on the freeway in the big "O" and we were motorhomein home from the desert.Still got the '49? :
Can you E-mail me a couple of pictures of the coupe Paul? Whaaaa happened to the Olds that you had to run a boat anchor? tufftin@crestviewcable.com
I know I know, just like all my cars I can't leave well enough alone. I sold my whole pile of 394 stuff to a young guy here on the HAMB, he's using some and selling the rest if he hasn't already. 'would like to see some of your stuff too. Paul
Paul! You kickin round Morrison's tell Art and Craig hello from the old bald guy. Saw there semi at Back to the Fifties in St. Paul about 6 years ago. Miss seeing the old group
I'll figure this here photo posting in awhile. Tried one a ways back but nothing came up. I'll try another here. Guess all my files are multiple off my digital cam so they don't break down for this format. I'll shoot some new stuff in a month or so.
Welcome to the HAMB. I see you reside on the correct side of "the mountain"... I was a moss-back, living in Portland as a kid when my folks moved to the Redmond area in '62. All my breathin problems went away at that point. Hope you stay healthy and keep breathing..... I was just back there a month ago...felt wonderful to take a deeeeeeeeeep breath.
Yep, still got Ol Blue. How do ya get rid of something that is part of your life. Bought it in 73 finished in in 82 and there is a lot of memories in that ol 49. The best memories were at Cherry hill with Gordy, you and the missus ( please don't tell her I can't remember her name ) Altimer's I guess, Jim and Annie, Jerry Danks, the Jetter's, Bo Huff, Lee Olson and that Idaho bunch staring Manny Elliot. I still got the tapes I took and I look at them once in awhile. Right now I'm looking at the Jan/ Feb lead paddle, what a great time that was. This is what I like about the HAMB, pass it on to the younger guy's and hope they carry on the tradition. It's really great to see you're still around, I've lost a couple close friends over the last few years and it does my heart good to hear you're doing alright. next time you're in the area give us a call. 985 8144. See Ya////////////// Keith.
Rocky Were in Prinetucky (Prineville) Was back your way for two years. Had a farm in Rothsay, Minnesota but I lost a lung there and came back west for my insurance.
I know that Jerry Danks died. What a loss! and we still see Man ny on a regular basis but he's into horses and won't even talk cars. Don't feel bad 'bout Susie's name. The girls she used to run with including Debbie and Carol couldn't remember her name so we put "Hey You" on her pink CNW club jacket.
