sorry to tease, I took the pics, but they're too big. Can I send them to somebody to resize and post?
Resizing photos is a common problem. When anybody runs into this problem, please tell us what program you are using to view the photos. For example, the program on my machine here at work is Microsoft Office Picture Manager. There is a ****on along the top that reads "Edit Photos". When I click on that, I find a ****on that reads "re-size". No matter what program you use, there should be a way to re-size picture, and someone can help.
awright, let's try this again. The pair of rails laying there are a possibility, holesawed all to heck, to replace the round tube. No clue as to their origin.
That front axle is The Sh!T. I'd love to have spindle mounts. We're building our car from the diff housing forward! I can't find a front axle anywhere -in my budget, that is (I'm a cheap ***, I'm waiting for one to fall from the sky). -Pete.
When you sroll down to the bottom of the page, click on the "post reply" ****on (not the "quick reply" ****on). Scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on the "manage attachments" ****on. The attachment on this post is a screen capture of the manage attchments window. You can see the types of files accepted and their max file size. The most common photo file is the jpeg. The max file size for a jpeg is 117.2 KB (Kilo byte). Nice mock-up, by the way.
Good mock-up pictures but for one thing, your garage is far too clean. Clearly you need to spend more time in it. Of course I'd be partial to the (obviously '23 Henway ) frame rails myself. They look like they could be T related by the ends but appear too heavy in the chord. What are their length and chord measurements, and can you do a picture of'em back-lit to show their factory holes?
Lookin good , keep the pics comin, The grandson and I are getting ready to start ours and maybe I can pick up some pointers . JerryE
what got me messed up this time is my new camera. Using even the lowest settings the pics were all in the 140-150kb range. Add that to the fairly new computer with Vista, and I got stuck! I still have to find the program in my computer so I can resize my pics, but for now I'm going to try to get my old camera going again so I don't have to resize.
what you can't see in these pics (strategic angles) are the other bays that are completely crammed with ****. Someday I'll do the "virtual tour" thing, you'll ****!! (this is my boss' shop btw, mostly NOT my stuff) the rails are about 120" inches long and 6" tall at the mid section. Yeah, one of these days I'll try the backlit thing. They really kind of trip my trigger, I think they'd look killer with the rest of the car, but they're kinda thick and heavy. If I end up running them I'd holesaw them until they weighed the same or less than an equivalent length of tubing. They were a pity/rescue-- one of the salvage yards around the corner was going to use them as legs of an axle rack!!
