Haven't any digital pics of cars I did in my past... But here's recent stuff: Go to the photo albums if you want to see the complete builds... My cheapy website My triumph, Started with just the front frame hoop and engine that needed rebuilt. A free front-end and wheels of a Yamaha and other free rusty parts: Might make an oil tank like this??? Sure, why not? It won first place brit chop a couple years at The Horse, Back Street Choppers' Smoke out in Salisbury NC. On to the most recent build: Honda CB 750 automatic... Named "Chop-O-Matic" Built completely from scratch on the back porch, in the dining room and then the shed once it was built... After I bent some tubes: In the Dining room: Big part of the frame done: Stainless steel diamond plate seat and batery box: Rattle canned base coat: Blue over silver: Stainless exhaust Olds hood ornament for a gas cap Rolled stainless diamond plate for grips Caddy taillite All the above and more is why and how I got named Sawsall... The best choppa motor is free and runs... don't matter the make, model or size... I'll cut them all... Hope you enjoy the pictures... someday, I'll do a couple 4 wheel choppas.
Coooool bike. I always wanted to build a jap 4 banger bike myself. I like the exhaust sound. Your exhaust looks like it'd keep your crotch and right leg nice and snuggly warm...
bike looks real nice, i got a 77 kz1000 that could use that treatment ,gotta get the buick on the road first !
Coool post. I used to put together the occasional Jap chopper type thing myself, in a past life. Great to see someone just using their imagination and building what they WANT to build, instead of being jammed in by the often ridiculed, 'unwritten rules' of custom building.
You should have your own TV show Jeff. Unlike OCC, you really build stuff! I'll play Paul Sr. part, to add drama. hehe You don't know where there are anymore 750 Hondamatics for little or nothing do you? A friend of mine lost the use of his legs in a motorcycle wreck. He built a side car for a 400 Hondamatic that he can roll his chair into and drive from the sidecar. He's a big guy and needs a bigger bike. He's got a ton of talent but no money.
Thanks for the kind words! Moondisc, Check out CB 750 Hondachoppers , Here is there Community boards A friend in Louisville that I believe still has one he wants to get rid of.
I never woulda thunk it...someone buildin' a chop out of a 750 Hondamatic!!! That bike SMOKES, Man! Gotta be the coolest scoot I've seen in years...over the top sickness and original as Hell!!! Being an former Honda Chopper owner myself, I got a soft spot for 'em...and that one is the best one I've seen yet! Can't say enough good shit about it..."impressed" would be a massive understatement!
who in the hell invited the wildman sawsall to the party?? whats up man...now that the hondamatics done you can get busy on them sky-his you promised me
Lord liftin'...you picked up your "Sawsall" nickname the old fashioned way didn't you? Impressive stuff bud! Your a maniac!!!!! Gotta respect a guy who successfully builds what he can find rather than sit on his ass wishing he had the "COOL" stuff to build. Your stuff is better than cool man...its home-fabbed!!! Bill
