try setting your camera on a smaller image size.....If you have windows paint you can resize the pics by opening the pics with paint, go to "image" in the task bar at the top of the paint window and click on resize.....try 90% on heigth and width...

I had the same problem, and because I still shoot 35 mm film I think this was the core of my problem. Heres my solution. First I set up a photbucket account. then go to my album, above the " BROWSE" ****on is a small OPTION ****on in blue. Click on that, and the screen will change to a BASIC IMAGE SIZE.It will list, avatar, thumbnail, website, message board, etc. Click to the size you need. I toggle between message board and 15". After you selection, click the SAVE ****on. Return to your images on previous page. Now if selecting HTML code does not work for you, hightlight the IMG code instead. This is what worked for me. Believe me , it took many attempts, and a few phone calls to friends to get it right. Also check out the HAMB forum under Questions and Suggestions to the Editor. Seach photo problems. You can make test postings in this area. Good luck. I hoped this helped
