The Rick Dore Merc that was at Paso last year is on the block in AZ right now. It's also listed on the bay under 1949 Mercury. It looks just like this one, only the paint does'nt shine.
That looks EXACTLY like your avatar!!!!!!!! Now we know how you're everywhere, at once!!! Two questions: 1) Is it just me or does the carefully placed So-Cal sticker look out of place??? 2) Is the spider crawling to the ratty rod or away????<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
"Better my sister in a ***** house, than my brother in a toyota!".......damn I miss this show it's the Koolest!
yeah, there was some real ******** going on at this show. after a two week thrash, finishing the car and getting to the event, we pulled the oz built rod & kulture buick, and booth. we wont be back, nor will we be covering this event in our publication anymore. we are gonna debut the buick at pamona. unfortunately, we are learning all of the behind the scenes drama/politics.
that is/was rick's I can tell by the grille bar as rick could not get it chromed for some reason ,he must have put it in gloss as it was flattened paint when new
Yup. The Sacramento Autorama I will be competing for the 'Most Beautiful Kustom Award' at John Buck's request(owner of the GNRS,Sac,Seattle and Portland Shows). Johnny, Zocchi, Oz, Dore, I think there are 5 or 6 of us that will be showcased at the front entrance. Should be funny while the big guys pull up with their Duallys and enclosed trailers, unpacking their custom made displays.......I will drive the Caddy from San Jose and take out my entire Kustom made (BY ME) display from the trunk. Should be a blast. I would challange any of those guys to DRIVE their Kustom to the Sac Show. I have meet them all over the last 6 years and they are very cool guys but that would be something to see. Brian
lots of empty spots in the bike show.. to hear they were Simms bikes that were missing is good news. for me the show was better without them. it seemed the show was a little off this year. hope it's not on a downward spiral.. the Bay Area needs an indoor show ... and what the **** was that red Munster mobile looking thing on the main floor??
I just got back from the show 20 min ago,on the way there from sacramento some crazy ***** pulled over on the bay bridge and climed over the side and was going to jump so the hour and a half drive from sacramento was a 3 hour drive because of this drama,no word if she jumped i will watch the news tonight and find out,i hope she did not, anyways been to this show many times and this was the worst car show i have ever been to,a few nice cars but nothing that blew my mind and the sued palace was like a bad hot topic store, best if you just look at the pics on the hamb and stay home and work on your car and save some money!
