My brother used to give me shit about my 40 pickup! He gave me shit cause it was not complete like the Rods in the magazines. I kept telling him, it is not how complete it is, but, how cool it is! "Just get it on the road and have fun"! Since then he has a running 46' ford and he has mellowed a bit! Heres a few pics of our rides. Define Cool! I dare ya!
both are cool, i've always had a soft spot for the 46-48 fords... everyone thinks my car is a piece of shit but i still have fun driving it. who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks? u should be able to take anything and make it cool if your ideas are good enough
For years I've always looked at, and talked about most vehicles in terms of what I like to call "design principles"....(which generally resulted in a lotta folks around me scratching their heads while going: "what? what are you talking about?") The most appealing factor to me is the fact that there really are no rules in this hobby of ours! Do what appeals to YOU! After all, it's YOUR ride, and YOUR investment whether it's low budget or quite costly. The rest, as they say, is history! Good Luck in whatever you choose to do!
Cool is having friends who you can trust to be there when you need them and won't lie to make you feel good when something you did is fucked up. Honesty and trust are VERY cool.
