90 degree kickups in the rear. Whose got 'em?

    Whos running 90 degree kickups in the rear. I'm building mine want to see what everyone else has.

    There was a RPU project on here a couple of months ago that had a 90 degree rear kick. Can't remember enough about it to do a search though.

  5. mines just over 90. 97 i think but it fallows the back of the body nicly

    I have 18" kickups but they're at 60*, I don't really like the look of 90* kickups, just my personal taste. I gusseted ALL my kickup joints with 1/4" plate, might be overkill, but I know it isn't going anywhere at all.

    Here's a shot of it, I think the angled kickups flow more aesthetically than a 90*

    I agree. The reason I'm doing 90's is I'm using a pickup cab with no bed and want the axle right behind the cab. Also kind of off the topic but no point in starting a new post. Will this work?

    Yes that will work cause it will act like a latter bar. Personally I wouldn't do it unless you can adjust your pinion angle.

    90 degree ? to follow back of body.
    But it is not very tall.

    I've got one in this...[​IMG]
    I don't have any good pics of the kickup, but it's fishplated and mega-gussetted on both angles. Almost 5k on the the ticker now and still in one piece...
