Mid winter vintage tin hunt!

Took my camera with me to various rumoured tin sites and lo and behold I found some! Finds include Ford 1/2 ton,Packard Clipper,39 Chevy sedan,55-57 Pontiacs,54 Chevy 2 door,numerous unidentifiables, my buddies 35 Ford hot rod from the early sixties and a cool 50ish Ford custom job. Definitely some parts are worth going back for! Check out the video on Youtube as well as others I have made.

that coupe is awesome! Mostly because of that sweet nailhead!

 

I guess you did find some!

 

The single most important thing to pull off that old ford truck is the seal retainer just behind the yoke so that you can conver a banjo rear to and open drive line. The truck rear is not a good ratio ( too Slow) pull the yoke off, ( big hammer) then unbolt the tin seal retainer. Break out into a big smile.

 

The 39 Chevy looked buildable to me.

 

Is that coupe with the nail head going to be put back together?

 

The owner says eventually but you know how it goes......
