guys i have been reading some of your posts and figured i would join and see if i can get some help from you all i love cars and allways will, i swear i was wined on a bottle of 10w30 and my first rattle was a IR 1/2 drive impact gun i am going to be building a old school rod but this is what i was planning on doing, full custom build from start to finish, I make everthing i can 5k or less to build this project want to use a 460 as the heartbeat have a 4 speed top loader i want to use ford 8" rear end or a chevy 12 bolt chop and channel this ride to roll down the road and drive it everyday any help from all of you guys would help out big time look forward to ****ing heads with some of you dave

5K eh? It's the 460 that worry's me. Those big block Fords can be expensive in everyway. Clutch, flywheel, headers or whatever. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, just budget for it. Start scroungin parts asap. It seems the ealier in a project you can but parts, the cheaper you can find em. Do you have a project car already?
have the mustang fastback im workin on but want somethin to drive com spring, mustang need lots of work the 460 is in stk in my company as well as trans, have some guages from my race car left over and lots of parts at yard but i want to build it from the first tube from the local steel yard to the final screw going in the license plate and hitting the road ALL SCRATCH BUILT CAR
