Denise - the cars are great and the vibe is too... you will roll your eyes at the pinup contest - don't worry - that's when you and I can walk around and look at cars and take pictures without a bunch of people in the way. And a lot of the guys look forward to the pinup contest it's just not our cup of tea. (Although the Hamburglar made an appearance last year) I will probably go for all three nights of the music one, as you know that's more of the reason I go to Indy in the first place. For the Road Rockets one, I will drive down on Friday afternoon and stay Friday and Saturday night.
Denise , You will love the road rocket rumble. great show with tons of cars. I will have the world famous "water melon truck" there with spiked melons and we will cook up some spam sandwiches. You Indy pals with be at the Rumble for sure. Theres more to this story, as usual i am sure between the two venues ......
-I would love to attend both...but, my wallet doesn't allow for two back-to-back trips to Indy from Southern Illinois... I'm gonna' have to opt for the show with more cars... -Tony
I know there are some great bands around and I think Radio Radio is one of the coolest clubs anywhere. Personally, I'm excited to hear that there are now two full weekends of great entertainment here in Indy. It sucks for people who can't do both but I'm sure both will be great times. I don't care about the politics of this. I hated it when my parents got divorced when I was a kid but then I got to celebrate my Birthday and Christmas twice so I got over it. It's like a competition between parents to see who loves you more. As long as everyone stays cool and doesn't sling mud, it's all good for Indy. There are a few bands I'd like to see so I'll do both. Heath, are your KryptoKats (I probably spelled that wrong...sorry) playing? Is there a band list? I'll be at the Rumble with the Dung Beetle too.
nope, we wont be playing. i think we're a little too "metal" for the weekender. hahahaa! how you doing Ron? i haven't seen you for a while.
