Well just goes to show you guys, they are still out there. When I find anything they won't sell it or it's a total piece of crap that they have let sit outside and go to hell in a handbag and want what it was worth 15 years ago because they like people asking them if it's for sale! I'm still looking but my time is running out. Glad somebody found these!

    CALL ME A DOUCHE BUT...
i wish they would of sat in that garage for another thirty years. there are so few finds like this left and soon there may be none.
i hope whoever gets ahold of them doesnt change a thing just keeps as nice as jaybird did and hides them away ... so in thirty years when i am as old and grumpy as some of you , i will see a post that says ... LOOK WHAT THE FUCK I FOUND , UNTOUCHED 3 WINDOWS , and we can all shit are pants again, great find hope those cars are around for a long time.

yes yes... Thanks for the congrats.

Let me answer a few of ya'lls questions...

Aussiesteve: Just wasn't in the cards for pops or I to keep one. They were appraised out of our league!

Mercmad: Read above... she did well. She didn't budge a dime off of what my dad appraised them at. we were proud of her. But.. sounds like your a custom guy. Sorry to here that. Hang in there, the medication will wear off someday!:D

Swdobbs: Yep! Lotta leg work, lotta hours, lotta stress! (Lotta money)

Revkev6: Original by engine/running gear and body standards..

Gigantor: HA HA!! Thats funny shit!

40standard: HELL NO THEY WERE NOT A CINCY STREET RODDERS MEMBER.

These cars were less than a quarter mile from the "Pumkin Run" car show. A 3000 car, show with a lot of traditional stuff. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE OUT THERE BOYS!! My nieghbor, a 32/34 restorer (Big collection) said it best...

"You young sum bitches are the lucky ones! All us ol' timers are gonna start dieing off and a lot of PRISTINE cars that couldn't even be looked at are gonna be available. There not gonna be cheap.. but there actually gonna be FOR SALE!!"

Think about that before you coment on it... HE IS RIGHT!

not only that, but most the cars that are gonna surface will be VERY NICE! The ones that are left, ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN INSIDE, KEPT NICE, AND WERE NICE WHEN THEY WENT IN!

Old cars will never STOP turning up.. they just won't be in ol' barns and in fields.. they gonna be in your next door nieghbors garage or basement. Check all garage/yard sales!!:D

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU FINDING THEM FIRST!!

    Joshua Shaw.

No Ebay.. Not for cars on this level.. I sat down and made a list of guys all accross the nation that I knew would be serious buyers. I had about 15 names.. The second guy bought them.

  14. What are his plans with them?

.. It had not been out in 30 years. I think ol' Jaybird was watching.. THE INSTANT WE BACKED IT OUT, IT STARTED RAINING, AND WHEN WE PUT IN BACK INSIDE 5 MILES DOWN THE ROAD, IT STOPPED. Like turning off a switch!

  16. That is way better than the dollar I found today!!!!

    Go to paulatkinsinteriors.com
or call the shop at 256-352-9608

Tell him I gave ya the number. I assured him if he sold them on the way home, I did'nt mind.. I'd be proud of him!

    Thats how these things work.

    Thanks Guys.

    Nice find! :)
Hes right about the supply of cars down the line. Go to altavista.com and type in 1932 ford. You know how many pages of cherry cars are out there? And those are just a fraction of people who posted pictures on their computers! Think of all the old timers that dont even have a computer.
The original finds of cars sitting in barns since 1939 are getting more rare, but the CARS are still out there and a TON have been restored.
Amazing to think how many of these cars were actually made, with all the jalopy races, hard top stock car races, destruction derbies, barn busters, car crushers, accidents... and theres STILL a shit load??? Hell YEA!!

Shit, I was reading the story about the deuces, scrolled down to see the photos and saw the US50 sign and the Ohio SR 132 sign (in Owensville)...not to far from my part of town...then I noticed who posted it...cool find. There seems to be alot of stuff coming out of hiding around SW Ohio lately.

Two very nice coupes. There is very, very nice one ( 32 3W ) close to me with only the rear window garnish molding missing. But the elderly man ( 80 plus ) will not sell.

I see in the coupe with no engine, that it has chrome garnish moldings ... :) Did it have the seat also ?? I saw the red/white Hot Rod door panels but no seat. I know the seat had to be removed to paint the floor ... just wondering if the seat and the tracks were there also.

    NICE CARS ...

Three years ago ... before I bought my 32 3W, I would have OFFERED at least a hundred grand or so for the pair :D

  29. I hope I never find something like this, because I'll have to pass on it because of the value of these things... Finding one and passing on it would kill me, I'd rather save myself a heartache.
