I know its good to have all matching vin #s but what if you cant find any specifics about the vin # I have one that im having trouble with finding any and all information on what should i do can someone help VIN #41439371939 ALL NUMBERS MATCH SHOULD IT BE KEPT ORIGINAL? or WHAT?
If it's for a studebaker, try them out of South Bend, IN they may be able to replicate a build sheet for you or maybe help over the phone. There website is http://www.studebakermuseum.org/ As far as keeping it numbers matching, too each his own on that one in my opinion.
do you have just the number, or is it stamped on a car? You're really not giving us much to go on here.... (edit: ***muming it's a 39 studebaker, and the number is really 4143937, you can tell that it was a late production 1939 model 9A made in South Bend indiana, the 9A is the Commander 6)
My 31 ford had no vin #s, but i did have a ***le,and on the ***le you got vin#s. So i had to take it over to the highway patrols, have them look it over, and then get it blue tagged. All that, and finally they issued me a new ***le with matching #s.
Those are actually stamped on the car....where did you get that its a 9a?? im really new at all of this and having a horrible time ALL HELP IS WELCOME
