i went to that show once on accident (a friend told me that the swap meet was that weekend,when it was actually a couple weeks later ) it was really pretty weak...and the swap meet area was VERY slim...
OK. I knew one of them was lame,just wasn't sure which one.I guess this is the one with all the Chinese tools for sale and a lot of cars to show.
yup,thats it. as a matter of fact i had someone just the other day trying to tell me that the swap meet is that weekend, but from what i read here the actuall swap meet is febuary 3rd.
Sam you are right. For some unknown reason the local car show crowd refers to the Autofest as "The Swap Meet".....it;s not. Kinda like the locals in Pigeon Forge refer to EVERY show in town as "The Rod Run". It's aliens I tell ya!!!!! The good swap meet has always been the A.A.C.A. one the first Sunday in February at the Fairgrounds.
Yepper, listen to SamF. Feb. 3 is the best swap around here. This one is not worth the drive for you. Hell, I am 20 miles away and it is not worth the drive for me.
It may be worth it for me.....right now I'm just happy to look through **** much less find something. even if i don't see anything, just need to check it out. I'll confirm the fact that it's worthless and all the local mid tn folks can say....I told you so.
i have always bought more at this swap than at the one in a couple weeks. heck its car parts, car people (sorta) and a good way to kill a day. what more could you ask for
