I was going to extend a set of 32 wishbones i have and put the yoke and ball back on to the bones(they were split) i put a 40 for x-member in the 32 frame and want to use the ball in the x-member. i am looking at it right now and thinkin they might be too long. from axle to center(of cup that holds the ball) it is 56.5"...is that too much, to long? thanks, id like to know asap so i can weld them or not. thanks -Jordan

Centerline for stock 32 wishbones ball to perch is 47.5.
I think as long as you retain caster you should be okay. Also, they would be spread slightly wider? In which case, check to see if you would have any clearance issues.
