My son's 59 chevy pickup got picked up today heading to Vegas He's owned it for 10 years, bought it when he was 14 years old and was a father/son project. Sold it here on the HAMB. There's a lot of Christmas/birthday and gifts in the form of parts on that truck . It's been part of the family. It's going to another father/son that is a HAMB member and they are taking it to the next level and going to do the metal work and paint it. That eases the pain a bit, and he has been promised first refuseal if they ever want to sell. Good luck guys hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
I've always liked that truck...the stance and the wheel/tyre combo is ***s! So what's he buying/bought now????
I like everything about that truck! Very tasteful....especially the wheel/tire combo. They go well with the truck and its stance.
It will be missed from our area. I remeber how bad *** that look flying down the highway. But knowing you Raff the next one that you and your son build will be just as Bad *** as this was. Hell I can't wait for your little coupe to come out of hiding.
It breaks your heart to see them leave on a transporter.I always get a tear in my eye when i sell mine.Neat truck i had a 58 fleetside years ago ...
He had an offer on a old farm house with a chunk of land but it fell through. He's still looking for a house, most of us have been there. When he builds a car again it will be a model A Thanks for the compliments guys he apreciates it.
Wow Raff, that IS a great looking truck! You guy's did a nice job on it and i'm sure the new 'team' will do it justice.. I know very well about the father-son project's, and the car part's as gift's as well.. My first car was a 57 Chevy..at the time i was a complete idiot in car's and not just an idiot as i am now...so pop's helped me where he could.. Lot's of sentimental value in that bucket of bolts.... I still have it though, i don't think i could ever find it in me to sell it unless it was life or death.. Wish your son the best of luck in the search for a place... Tony
sweet truck, well it is kinda staying in the family-the HAMB family,at least you know it will be well taken care of
I wish someone would buy me and take me to where there is no more snow. Most here have felt that pain before.
Did you throw in an extra set of snow tires? I am getting pretty sick and tired of these Buffalo Winters. Good luck with yuor next project. BC
