    Acouple of questions ,,,,,,,,
1 -- as of now my 34 glass 3 window has a ford 302 in it ,, it is going to leave .. to replace it I have 2 choices ,, a 396 ,, or a 472 caddy .. also included was a vintage heat and air set up, I would like to hook it up,, and wondered how hard it is to find the correct pulleys, as we do need heat here, in the great white north .. aslo wondering what kind of exhaust looks good on these coupes ,, forgot its a ford coupe .

2 -- what about the fenders and running boards ? I want to use the top of the hood, but not the sides .

Any ideas or pics would be helpfull ........... let me have it .. always willing to listen ...

Fender's and board's on 33-34 coupe's look good in my opinion because of the nice way they flow...and with the right stance they can also give the car even more of an evil look.
Hood top's ran alone will be fine, especially with a different mill..
if your running something a bit different, why not show it..
Which leads me to this, I'm a Chevy guy, but given the choices, i'd go Cad..
It's different, still will make PLENTY of power and tree pulling torque..
As far as the heat/air unit..
If you don't care about air, just go with a small hot rod heater that mount's under the dash..
No pulley's or A/C compressor to worry about, clean and get's the job done. I had one in my old 33 Ford truck and it worked pretty damn good...
Exhaust, if you run fender's, just run the pipe's under it in normal fashion...no fender's, and the cad, gotta make something that's going to exit out the side's :)
    Just my 2 cents..
Good luck no matter what you do.

Check out this link...there's a lot of good looking car's in this..i'm sure a few you might like..

Tony, thanks for the link . Still beating myself up . trying to figure out the least expensive way to do this .. money is tight here .. lol. I"m with you on the BB, trips, 2x4, lot of intake choices , not many for the cad . I have a 392 hemi , but that is out of sight, for parts. and like they say, things are cheap for belly buttons ....
Was wondering what kind of money it would take to get a few parts for the Cad ..

Full-fendered Fordillac- how could anything be better? Talk about tradition.

Chevy engines, even BB's, may be more practical, but I always thought hotrodding and practical were two different worlds. In the end, make yourself happy, that's what's important. But I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with a 34 running a big caddy.

Caddy parts are exspensive esp old speed equipment...same with the 392 stuff but i believe some of the big block chevy parts can be used on the 392 but not enough to lighten the wallet and accomplish what you want...Research Hot Heads and some other Hemi sites for info but your best bet seems to be with the BB....Hell, sell the Caddy and 392 theres your money you need..
