Hey, if you can't make up your mind, try one side of the car one way, the other another. This way if there's a way you do not like, you're only into it half-way !!!
Looking at that Car Craft, those aren't spider caps... or atleast not a one piece spider cap. I like the look of those better, how do they get the center bullet to attach.
The ones you are thinking about are very very RARE...I've personally only seen them on one other car and that guy owned a kustom shop for many years...I didnt realize what they were until last year and i never picked up on them over all these years staring at the pics of the car... I see your car with a flaked out roof rollin on 14x6 rev Truespokes and skinny whites...But that me...lolol
Check this link. It shows a 1956 Lincoln cap. Perfection ! http://www.hubcaps.org/blog/wp-content/images/2007/02/lin57p.jpg
That wheel is it. The center bullet pushes through from the back. Then you just buy some bullet lug nuts. I do agree with losing the skirts. In my opinion, tri-five Chevy's with skirts looks like an old man car, no offence to old men.
As an old man I say wide whites, Lancers or Fiestas, and skirts and lay the car on the ground. Well unless your going after the mid 60's look then I like the Supremes with pinner whites and still use the skirts and lay her on the ground. My 2cents!
