I have a guy wanting to trade a 37 chevy coupe for one of my cars... I've done a search and cant find any decent pics... I just want to make sure I want to build before driving 5 hours to check it out... I did a image search and only found chainer cars and stockers, Im looking for something alittle more custom... Thanks Harmon
There are pics of mine in my gallery: http://www.slonaker.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=4 Slonaker
Thanks for the pics, everyone.... Some very nice rides.... I would be building it for the wife, so I cant get too crazy with it.... Im just not sure if thats what I want..TThe car I'd be trading is a #s matching 69 camaro that needs restored (I know this is not a muscle car site)...I just dont know if I'm ready to get rid of my old camaro... Thanks Harmon
Here's a pic of my '38 before I pulled it apart for a rebuild. It drove well and handled nicely. It has a MII front end, Ford rear, 350/350 power train. Room enough in the car for two good size guys, but that's about it. Enough room behind the seats and in the trunk for some luggage, groceries, tools, etc.
...here's a 38 I built years ago and ran w/o fenders for awhile. 19LaidBack37...your coupe is so nice, what's the suspension/driveline. I like those wheels/tires a bunch.
Thanks a million, its got the boring old 350/350 combo but its good and reliable. Mustang II front end and 10 bolt rear with bags. Just coker tires and spraybomb gold steel wheels. Not exactly the most traditional, but its a great driver.
Big ed's 38 with 3 windows looks really bad ***. use to have one(ever hear anyone say that) Wish I still had it.Had a sbc and ran like hell back then (59) those are my favorite years chevrolets! Thanks, BOBBY FORD
You can not go wrong with using LeadSledMerc's as an example. What he didn't say is he also has a 401 Nailhead in it, that much sweeter! My wife's 37 coupe is destined for a similar Westergard style. No good pics of it, and no progress since borrowing the engine for my COE. Need to get serious on her car.
