A few years ago I bought a set of steel ones that bolt to the valve cover bolts. The wires bolted in them with a heavy plastic cap & allen head bolt.Thinking I got them at Oreillys but not sure.Sorry couldn't be more help.

Looms and spark plug wires,if ya hold wire so they don't get hot from ex, that's fine, but some also hold wire parall [next to each other ] for too long, making induesed spark from one wire to the other. Looks all nice and neat, but works for ****.

I see those at just about eveery auto parts store I go to. Maybe they don't carry them where you are, but just about everyone has them online. Jegs, Summit, etc.

Is this really true? I would think with a good set of wires and todays technology an induced, parallel jump would be a thing of the past.
I have a set of looms that im running on a very good HEI set up and i have yet to notice anything like that..im running 8.8 silicone wires (the expensive ones) and they are all on the loom..at night and wet i dont even see anything like a transfer from one to the other wires...

  8. I think I probably have a couple of the old style cal custom looms.

I personally normally use the zip tie method myself. Kind of NASCAR and not totally trad but it keeps your wires straight. I've also been known to bend up my own from coat hangers that is probably totally trad at least I was doing it that way about 40 years ago and I'm sure I wasn't the first one to think it up.

I don't have a pic but I used thinwall stainless tubing that was just larger than the wires...I welded 4 together with the lengths I wanted. Then just added flags with holes to bolt them to the valve covers.

I made mine out of brake line pieces. Flared the ends, had it chromed. No crossfiring so far. Its in the pic below...

You could fab your own with minimal tools.

Hit up HOME-DEEP-HO (or a s**** yard if you got one!) and grab some lengths of aluminum. they make it in widths of 1-3 inches and about 1/4-3/8 inch thick...your choice. You'd only need a couple feet.

Polish first if you want it to look chrome or maybe a milled look.

bend them up curvy or angled and drill the bottom so it'll fit under a bolt (anywhere?). it'd really be your choice of how it looked. maybe cut a small length (4 or 5 inches) and make it fit the wires and then "T" it to the end? You could even combine it with the ziptie method.

Cheap and kustom. it'd run you about $6.
