you should leave the fenders and wheels just like that with a big *** motor. it'll look like your car melted under a giant magnifiying gl***. haha. can't wait for more progress.

worked on the coupe a little this week, once i got the original ch***is out from under it i brought the new rails in, [IMG]
i started lookin at the sub rail construction and have a few ideas, also i cut out the rear rumble pan and other floor boards.

to make sure that my rumble lid fits back in, i made up some 3/4 tubing braces to hold the quarters in place.

havnt really got tom many more updates, but i took the gas tank out and realized that the top of it is actually the top of the cowl. I was hoping to cut in a cowl vent. Anyone got pics of what they did and what cowl vent to use?

I personally don't think that putting a cowl vent on an A would look right, especially the look you're gonna have. Of course, I am the guy building a '31 and using the stock gas tank. I love the look of everything stock up there.

aw' hell I'm using the stock 31' tank location too. the gas tank cap needs to be there for a reason!

What happens with the wood where you weld the posts back
together? Do you cut it back to do the weld?
