What did you get done this weekend???? 1-20-08

Doing fine now...had to sit in the hospital w/ an oxygen mask for 4 hours till my blood got back to normal levels.
Hate to see the bills on this one

 

Went to HGR with Dan, didnt buy a frame table either....Got book cases instead. Spent the weekend re-organizing my kids play room in the ba*****t....

I packaged all the engine parts and banded down the 392 Hemi motor I sold to another Hamber. She ships to the new home on wed.

Started putting this "A" body back together. It is really rough. Someone cut the quarters off with a torch or some other crude method. I guess they were going to crush it and it got saved at the last minute. For now, the rear is just tacked in place until I make all the changes I have planned. I'm not too concerned about keeping the exact length because I'm shortening it a little and it will have a removable (or hinged) hardtop.

Finished the last welding on the floor in my tudor, trimmed and mocked up my brake pedal ***embly, and cut the roof off another car and skinned it for the tudor.

 

**** man.. it's got a manual antenna.

Hot rods are great, but I can't build one from scratch like you guys.

 

Got my Edge stall converter installed. My poor knuckles.

Also got the rear-end rebuilt. I'm saving my pennnies to get a posi-carrier though.

Fabbed up mounts for a new radiator since the old one let loose, too.

 

Well, today doesn't exactly qualify as this weekend, but I FINALLY ORDERED MY COKER H78-15s TODAY!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

HA! That sure is one ****ed-up mess!
