Man, I miss that track. How are they doing? Last time I was there was April... I learned quickly that Texans don't like to come out when it's under 60 and raining.
Hell, with the 2.75 gears and 36" tires, I won't get outta second. I never get outta 3rd in the 1/4. But if I got time, I'll make some p***es.
When I do go to change the gearing, it'll have to be a posi. It's embar***ing spinning just one tire. And if somethings gonna break, I can blame it ON the posi.
That's good to hear. It's a great little track that likes to take care of its racers. Hell, last time I went racing up here in the North, day after Turkey Day, they had to break the ice out of the water box every few runs! I was holding an event there and in San Antonio during the freakish early spring last year and got pounded by the storms... No ill feelings, I love the country of Texas, just lost a ton of cash on a rainout.
