Newb in STL

Hey whats going on? well im working on a 55 pontiac chieftain that should be on the road in march. i was wondering if there were any other STL locals on the forum??

are there any car clubs that have cool guys and would welcome a newb. ive worked on jap cars for a while and my uncle is getting me hooked on this hot rod* thing. my car should be on the road soon and im lookin for a cool group of guys to hang with.

 

Hey Guys I am new as well Iam working on a 50 Ford F-1 it will be done
late spring I am going to try to post some pics here a little later I bought
a bunch of plated stuff for my front end from the Portland swap meet.

i dont know if this forum if diffrent than most but i usually go throught photobucket and just post the URL. but i havent really figured this site out all the way yet. ill post some pics later too!

Welcome... im out in ofallon, mo, but there is always stuff going on at the chuck-a-burgers... i am looking for some fellow hotrodders aswell... everyone up my way is into the muscle cars or japetunerz... need some more traditional rods to roll with...

Hey, man whats up. The Bombers always have a few shows during the summer. You will have to post some pics of your 55 Poncho sometime. There are a few of us youngins in the area. The older guys are the one's you learn from though. The Hunnert car pileup is the can't miss show around here. It's up North a couple hundred miles and is in OCT. Good luck on your build. o yea since you asked I have a 53 Dodge.

i pretty much need one of those hot rods for dummies books!! ive worked on jap cars for a while and am def. willing to learn but this is somewhat of a new frontier for me. my uncle went to wyotech and sold me the car and im going up in march so me and him can fix some **** and then drive it back down. but i guess everyone starts somewhere right?

yea im hopin to get it on the road in march and have a 350 in it by october for the pile up near chicago. but yea ill deff. try to make the show. and thanks with the lingo its greatly apprechiated!!
