WooHoo!!! It is Snowing!!!

Well Alex got his wish He is driving the Catalina through snow, not a little bit of snow mind you, but A LOT of snow. Going over the Grapevine driving his wifes Catalina on the way to the Grand National Roadster Show.

 

It's pouring like a motherfucker here. Carefull Al.

 

If I were Alex I would turn around, go home or stop somewhere and get me a plane ticket. I use to live in that crap every winter in north Tennessee and it didn't take long for me to hate it. Hope he makes it ok. From the guys at 205 Rim Shop in Alabama. BOBBY FORD

 

Snowed over two feet here the other night. Since I drive the dealership plow truck in the winter its my job to clear the lots. Been some late nights and early mornings around here.....

 

The news at 6:44 said the grapevine is Closed! exit 202 to 215 according to the weather channel is closed.

 

Snowing here too. But then again it is Detroit..

With new snow fall I HAD to do some donuts in the parking lot when I left work.. Oddly enough security didnt like it very much..

Who doesnt like donuts?

Shit here in Il. its snowed the last 3 days on and off around 7" deep

 

I hate the grapevine when it`s dry. I can`t imagine it with snow.

 

hey scot it was one crazy ride,i have no windshield whipprs as you know,i couldnt see any thing !trucks were jacnifed ,cars spon out all over the place, a truck was pliped over...i could bearly see at all i was able to see out the lower right corner of the windshield bearly , i just followed the tire tracs in front of me.it was more the 6" of snow.and to think monday i considered flat towing the 40 be hind the 54...thank god for the crapy weather forcast for the bay area for 10 strait days..and sure an glad i desided to take suzies car and not the 54 dont think i would have made it!!!!!

I'm glad you made it in, Alex. It snowed at my house too. I'm leaving an about 30 minutes. The freeway is open, but I hear it ain't pretty. Yay for bias ply's on a 55 year old suspension!

Hmmmph!....Snow....so light, so quiet, so fluffy, and no two flakes alike................but then they gotta gang up on you!

I was born in the wrong hemisphere..... I hate snow.

 

Alex you rule dude!! all the other whiners are always crying about having to drive in the rain, let alone the snow, with No WIPERS!!!! i already saw pictures of the Catalina in the suede palace so i know you made it.

 

The beauty of living in Texas is that I never have to shovel sunshine out of my driveway so I can go to work.
Of course that is easy to say now, however, it is a real bitch in the summertime when the highs are over 100 degrees for weeks at a time and the lows are in the 90s.
