Here is a 28’ roadster I found for 5k, what do you guys think? Is it worth the money, needs a few things to get it on the road: brakes, wiring, steering, etc... please give me some input.

i saw it on craigs list too and thought that it was not, unless you want that type of roadster and cant do the work that is already done yourself. you could buy all those parts for less i think, and probably better shit and what you want. you dont want to buy someone elses problem. but if you like it and the parts and work is nice then it may be worth it, all will you spend the money on hookers if you dont buy this car now and need to invest while you can. all in all i would definetly low ball him and know that you wont make money on it, and look it over carefully

From the looks of it I'd say go for it. It has pretty nice style. A "classic" roadster look. But go look at it and see how the quality of the build is. Look at the welds on the frame and how the suspention is put together. Just make sure it is safe first. From there you can go any way you want with it.

Looks more like a front half of a Model-T phaeton to me, with an A grille. Roadsters have trunks or rumble seats.

    26-27 Model T Roadster/Tub body, 28-29 Model A Fordor hood(note poor fit),
28-29 Model A shortened radiator shell.
Looks like a throwtogetherjunkpartstosell project rather than an abandoned "real" project.

Looks and especially pics, are deceiving. Go and have a look at it. If the work is good and the body is sound, may be a good deal.
