did you have any problems? I have heard monos have a problem with breakage? I'm not a weekend driver I drive my ride everyday. One more thing are they the main place in this area. I think that is were I bought mine and one broke on me today it has only been about 7 months.

Durant has gotten a bad rap lately,,,I've been using them for several years and NEVER had a problem.

I know of one guy that did have a problem and his was caused by his lack of knowledge and seeing how low he could get the front and not notching the frame for travel,,,

1" travel ain't gonna work something has to give,,,after hitting the frame for over 2 years his broke,,,,the spring wasn't to blame. HRP

So, what is the advantage of a mono leaf? The DISadvantage is you lose the safety factor of multiple leaves that work together.

I bought mine cause my buddy has had his on his '40 pick-up for many years, without any issues. The ones I hear that break are the transverse leaf springs. The parallel leaf set ups are pretty reliable. They lower the rear 4" from stock height, without blocks.

I have had cars when I dis***embled them had broken springs in the pack,,,

The mono springs are considerably thicker and with the spacers they are easier to ajust the ride hight without removing leaves from a factory style spring,,,

If they are unsafe why would GM use them? HRP

I didn't say they were unsafe, just that they were less safe. The fact that you have dis***embled spring packs to find broken leaves proves my point about their safety factor. I not trying to start a ******* contest, just curious why people like mono leaves.
