I know this is O/T but I figured I'd give it a shot. I am doing some resto work on a 1970 plymouth cuda. I need to know the distance apart the rear leafs should be at the axle pads. Either pin centers or inside to inside once assembled. Something ain't right in this car and I need to figure it out asap. I know someone on here has one of these cars or knows of a good mopar website. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mike.

they taper in from the front...Like a shallow "v"

The pins aren't centered in the springs, either. they sit about 1/3 down from the front bushings.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the help. Guess I gotta cut off the pads. They are 44". They were just done by another shop "to factory specs." Guess they got the specs. from the wrong "factory".
I knew they tapered in towards the front and that there was a left and right. Now I just gotta pull it all out and start over.
