It was 24* tonight when I decided it would be a good idea to drive my '38 back to work for a bit. I was wrong.

Long story short, the generator stud broke & the fan went into the radiator. The radiator had been patched & plugged a few times before & was sporting two new leaks before this all went down tonight.

Needless to say, it's time for a new radiator. Do I bite the bullet & buy a Walker or do I dare have my old one re-cored?

..... & does anyone have a 2x2 intake they would want to sell or trade for a Fenton 8BA 2x2? Also, who is offering those 3" or 4" carb stacks/spacers? I can't afford a Thickstun but like the look.

Vern Tardel makes some 4" spacers. I will look tomorrow at our intake collection and see what we have.

if the tanks are solid, putting a new core in will be your most economical solution and also the best looking

all the walkers ive seen say "walker" on them

    good luck

Kevin always prefers to use new aluminum radiators, but on our '36s, my Dad and I ALWAYS recore the stock radiators. I've never had a problem with mine.
