Back Seat Betty will be there. I'm not sure where they ended up. Kevin will be there today. Look for Miss Hop up too. (Kevin's fiancé
well look for me i will have a car guy garage t shirt on and a beer in my hand for some reason i am all ways drunk at this event
It was a good show this year. I was a little disappointed that there were not that many "rat rods". They always seem to make a car show complete! Did anyone see the Bright Orange '37 Ford coupe? I think it was in row 4 or 5. Beautiful car! If anyone got any pics please send them to me.
Post less, read more - atleast until you understand what this place is about. Surface texture doesn't define a car - the style that it is built in does.
"RUST"isn't "Traditional",this site is!!! Look around, there are many, very well finished "traditional hot rods"on here. That 37 is a street rod.
Came looking for some pictures and then found this aimless dribble. For all you FNG's. This site is not about flip flop paint, rat rods or street rods. This thread is "OFF TOPIC". Why can't these FNG's read more and post less? Neal
Rust? Hardly. One look at that windshield should tell you it definitely doesn't belong here. The best "street rod" there by far was the black '40 coupe. For trad cars (and there were only a few), the Hop Up car always rules, the T on deuce rails with the Flathead was killer, and of course I am biased here, but Back Seat Betty is killer too. I liked the black '38 too. The red A pickup with the flathead turned out nice. The patina A sedan looked good too. As long as we're straying off topic, the silver GTO with redlines and steelies and the '66 SS convert, maroon with redlines and steelies had me hot and bothered. But if you know my SS, that's no suprise. Hahaha!
Did anybody go by the Chicago Brush Master auction? Was there a panel jam? I wanted to go Friday but heard the auction was Saturday and couldn't make it. Anybody take some cool pics?
Here's a link to some great photos by Gary Mitidiero of the Saturday auction action: http://www.hitechdigitals.com/gallery/brushmasters/index.html

Don't get me wrong, I didn't say I hated that car. But it deffinatly doesn't belong here. I gave up bagging on cars a long time ago. I try to find value in anyone's project. Even those gooffy donk things. Sure the wheels are lame, but look close at the paint jobs. Its hard to paint 86 Caprices any better.
Hey appleseed, good point! To clear things up, I never said if the car belonged to the site or not! I think it is a car, and even if it is a glass car or cart wheel or whatever, its still a car and isn't that what brings us all here? Cars?
