When you`re bored call up AutoZone and ask for a throw-out bearing for a 79 Coupe DeVille.

The Hammershackles are dragging on my 1983 Corvette ,and they're kind of spendy to replace; I'd like to trade the NOS Fallopian Tubes I bought years ago, for a 1958 Ford Automatic Transmission, for new, or even slightly used, Hammershackles. The Petosleeves are also starting to vibrate, so those will be next after the Hammershackles. This car's starting to nickle and dime me to death, but 1983 Corvettes are extremely rare; look up the production numbers if you don't believe me.

When I was going to X-Ray school years ago, at the hospital I trained at, there was a water faucet on a wall, low to the floor,in the X-Ray Department. It looked out of place, and when I asked about it the Chief Tech told me it was used for draining the radiation out of the walls on the weekend. I did'nt fall for it, but a couple of my cl***mates did.

I actually OWN a full set of Left handed wrenches. No ****. They come from cornwell, and the heads are reversed. they are made to be used right up against a "standard" wrench, so you can line up fittings "flat to flat" and not have the boxed end collide.

and on a mugen kit for some goofy honda, there is a bafle in the muffler, which is operated by vac***. this baffle is retained in it's position by bearings.

    Fire and brimstone!
There actually ARE such a thing as Muffler bearings!

You guys know where to find anything, maybe you can help me with my car. I have a wadulator valve going bad and rubbing on my waternator which causes the engine to run hot and wore out my rod bearings and blew my head gaskets then the heat blew out my muffler bearings. Anyone know where to get these replacement parts?

    P.S. it is a 1979 Mazda Rx7

As a plumber in the military we used to send the newb in search of a pipe stretcher and a bucket of flint sparks. It was always good for a days worth of laughs. Brings back some great memories.

I'm a student aid in my 9th hour shop cl***, I just get to hang out and laugh at the freshmen. Well yesterday I sent this kid on a mission to find a Grinding Wheel Sharpener...You wouldn't believe the random **** he brought back to me....Real co**** file "This it?" Nope it's a little more round than that, Rounded File, "How 'bout this?" Nope it's actually bent in a U, and the outside is an octagon...This whole bit went on for about an hour. Also I just found out according to the self proclaimed automotive know it all at my lunch table, his Beetle has liquid cooled mufflers. Oh and also according to him my '60 F100 should have a Catylitic Converter....I love people.
