50 Buick windshield swap

Hi, has anyone changed out a 2 piece windshield on a 50 Buick special jetback sedan to a one piece? What windshield did you use, did it fit right in or did you have to modify the opening. I THINK the Buick super gl*** will fit. There are so many styles of Buicks, the sites I have found on Buicks seem to address restorations only. thanks for the help. Dale

 

Maybe a '50 Caddy or '50 Olds??? My Bro-In-Law has a '50 Buick Sedanett, maybe he knows, I'll ask him.

 

I am not 100% sure, but I thought the 50 GM cars all shared the same front windshield.
I put a 50 Olds one piece in my 51 Chev Htp some 45 years ago. Worked great and looked 500% better than the two piece.

IMHO

 

'50 Special is 2 piece. Super and Roadmaster are one piece. Super and Special have the same Body...

I put a 50 olds 1 piece windshield into a 51 chevy sedan delivery just had to cut out the center bar and it fit right in, but I had a local gl*** shop install the gl*** but I had to help very simple to do. Hope this helps

 

i think you can also use a olds window also you can use an olds 98 rear window too, but you'll have better luck finding a buick one.
