Ive had my truck on the road for a few week's now .I have gotten a few thing's finished since then. The first few pic's are of my dash and shift knob. The instrument cluster is from a ford bronco.I admit to stealing the idea of the shift knob from a car in the TRJ.I did put mine together with br*** though .I think it look's prett good.

This second set of pic's shoes my thickstun air cleaner .I had to fab up a new base for it as the spacing wasnt correct for my carb setup .I love the look's of these and think it really set the motor off.I also got my overflow jug finished .As you can see it was an old fire extinguisher I cut it down about 3" and soldered some fitting's and a mounting bracket to it.I also have a pic showing how I did my PCV system .Had to have it as I was blowing oil from breather at speed.

The dash is made of steel. I soldered a sheet of copper over it and pounded it into submission.Kinda polished it and clearcoated it.GREGG

Corey the shift knob is two spider gears welded together.I filled a large part of the middle in with br*** and polished it up and cleared it.Are you going to make the Rumblers show?GREGG

WUuu WHoo. Seat Time! Looks great. What'd you do on the shifter?
Is that brazing between the spiders? Diggin on the instrument
cluster too, Only thing I can question is the hardline between the
pump and regulator. Maybe just the pic,but looks close to the lower
rad hose and although not a problem now during our "winter" I wonder how it will be come August. Vapor lock ****s, even if its
minimal. Any chance on making the Rumblers Groundhog show
    next weekend in Orlando?

By the way.. I didn't mean to sound negative about the shifter. To each their own. It would be really cool if there was a story to go with those spiders.
I'm clumsy enough that one crack into that with my nuckles and I'd be in a mess.

    COOL BEANS!!!
Gregg, I'm glad to see you got it on the road. It looks great!

I like the overflow can. It just fits.

Think you can do 8-9 hours in it?
The Jalopy Showdown will be here before you know it and you told Larry you'd be there.

Jeff the fuel line is not as close as it look's in the pic.Yes I will be at Rumblers show.Gizmo i wish I could tell you I got them as a result of a 7grand launch with anexploded diff.Unfortunatly the truth is not that exciting.I just thought they looked cool.Ken thanks for the compliment's.Just to set the record straight I said I want to go to the showdown and I am planning on doing just that.I am working on trying to buy a house right now so that might get in the way of a trip .GREGG

    AH HA!

I see it now.....I recognized the gears but the filler threw me....I like it...

Rumblers show...deff gonna try...depends on the ever changing work schedule...wont be there in the truck though, its in the process of getting ripped apart....read...down to the frame (last time)

But ya'll be seeing some build threads coming up as time permits

when you doing the windsheild frame or did you decide to leave it?
