got a 5/8 of normal size 34 chevy[ dwarf race car] and l am going to make it a car l can drive to car shows and just enjoy running around in,, added 8" to the frame so the honda 1100cc motor V-twin sits straight and l put a geo raditor in for cooing,l put in a winshield and rear window that is l/4 lexan and side windows, this state has a fair weather law so no fenders or windshield wipers are required, it has a chain drive to adaptor that runs a driveshaft back to a toyota rearend, it will have roadster stand style headlights and 4 custom made tail lights so l can be seen at night, let me know any thoughts on this thing of mine:eek:

First thought: Make sure you can register that in your state and that it will be able to p*** inspection, if any.

Second thought: I really like this idea. Wonder if a wiring harness made for a T bucket might work for one of these? I've worked on one, they seem to be well built and designed.

The though has rattled through my brain more than once.
90% of my driving is just me so that could be a cool solution to $3 gas :D

Sound like it could be fun! Good luck with registration!

  5. You may have a problem with the Lexan windshield. Vehicle inspection says you must have ASA 1 safety gl*** for use as a windshield. Lexan would splinter like daggers in a collision.

Lexan is also known as bullit proof gl*** in thicker diminsions. Used almost exclusively in modern day race cars. NASCAR requires it.

    So, What State?
    West?
    West Virginia?
You aren't helping anyone help you by not saying where the **** you are!

Go for an "Alternative energy hybrid" registration.
You are maybe going to run an electric motor for a reverse gear?
Make it go forward too so the car is a hybrid.
States love to register anythng hybrid now

Have you thought about how many people will see you? Think of the vehicle behind you--there are enough idots driving around who can't see motorcylces, small cars like VW's and even 3/4 ton trucks. Are you sure you want to share the roads with these *****s?

There are commercial ($) reverse gears available, or you could do it like this:
