I've seen many posts on grafting roof inserts from other cars, but they are all usually 40-50's cars. Has anyone found a late model roof that will fit well in a 30-31 A coupe? There are no yards around here that have old iron. They have all turned to dust. Thanks in advance!

A Maverick Roof Works Great 2 Or 4 Door

  4. dont discount the ferrin jobs...they are extremely plentiful in yards, and they all have roofs that are small and curved about right..and totally usable. metal is metal, ferrin' or not.

Evidently, I've led a sheltered life, because I have no idea what a ferrin is

    It's furrin.
    Same as a taint car.
    Taint from round here.
    Taint even from this ****ry.
    Furrin, as in furrinore.

Got it. I have no problem using a furrin roof panel if it fits. Thanks for the interpretation.
