Mine is currently under construction again, waiting whitewalls and a new motor/trans.

I believe this one is foose built, not chopped, but the roof has been sectioned, flattened out a little. I dig it.

 

I dig it... but those wheels are nasty. Thats the kinda thing nightmares are made of

 

Several years back Tom Taylor did a sketch in Rod and Custom of a 1953 Chevrolet 2dr sedan, that had the "b" pillar and door post removed and made into a hardtop. It wasn't chopped but was dropped. It was one of the best looking "concept" cars I had seen him drawn. I often wondered why no one has ever attemped it for real.

 

i like chip's style but i never understood why he always has to have gawdy wheels on such a nice subtle ride
