It's more like a '28. What is it? A Willys/Overland maybe. If you get that for a couple grand, you could make 5 times that in a heartbeat..

he needs to be informed and put in contact with someone with serious money or an auction house. i would normally be all about a good deal, but this man has a means to make high six figures low seven and should be given the luxury of such. I would be a good hearted person and ***ist in restoring it and wheeling it off to Barret Jackson more money than brains auction and split the big money. thats just me. i'm a nice guy and need all the good karma i can get. i know a guy who has a 29 packard club coupe he spent 30 years restoring and its worth over 750k when he last checked.

Very frankly; I would hope he wouldn't sell it to somebody who knows as little as apparently you do about old cars. That car is a real cl***ic (Willys Knight with sleeve vale engine) and seriously deserves to be preserved. It should not fall into the hands of someone who might cut it up. And I AM a hotrodder.

  12. i looked on line and found one like it it is a 1930 willys Knight roadster but not to sure on price.

    Get the FACTS straight?

I have to ask... if you know a lot about "Old Cars", but just not this one, I wonder why you dated the car as a "48"?

Perhaps you thought that was the model?

Hey man, just for your info we all were FNG's when we joined this site, I am just messin with ya, but there were some major holes in your story. FYI I would have sold my liver to science (again)to come up with the "Couple thousand" to pick it up to resell it FAST. If I did that, I woulda kicked homeboy down with extra dough if the profit was good. BTW there is no mistaking it for a 48 no way no how, so study up on your auto books friend.

Also it is probably a lein sale on the guy who never paid your boy for work, I bet it belonged to some old guy who up and died or fell gravely ill and the upholstery guy just wants his money out of it. Beware.

  26. i understand but in the first post it says(im not to sure about he year) please read ,it was a mistake theres people in here that have never seen a car like this and this was my first time to i just asked him if he wanted to sell he said if you give me a good offer he would sell it.
