Awesome car. I've always wanted a '54 stock-height roof sedan slammed completely to the ground. Kenny went and built it....
^ yessir, thats where she was... just wanted to say one more time, i wouldn't change a thing about it. love how he kept the trim. lotta people kill the trim on these cars, but i dig it.
kenny, is a very cool guy. i met him earlier this year on the way down to the round up. i think he pulled that car out of a field like 3 weeks before going to the round up.
That thing is perfect!! What was the reason for the lower control arms? Camber issues? Just curious, as I'd like to get my 50 sitting like that ASAP!
Awesome work, my wife is wanting a 54, and wants it bagged, i like the lower control arms, looks like the original arms were cut and then the "strap" was added and then the bottom plated to make a cup for the bags and ball joint? is this right or am i looking at it all wrong?
I saw this car in August 2006 at the Gasmonkey Garage display Sturgis week in Rapid City, same car same licence number, did Kenny work with them at one time, or did he give them the car to take to Sturgis.......I got the impression from the Gasmonkey guys that they had built the car????
Is the owner of this 54 a member here? Id love to get more info on those lower A arms. I understand what they do, but more pics and info would be great!! Bad*** ride for sure! I'll never be happy unless my 50 sits like that.
So the guy in that pic is not the same guy that built it? He took credit for that when it was in Sturgis.................oh well, we put a dent in their wallet drinking their beer.
i believe kennys been workin on a killer truck since he sold that chebby, dont quote me on that, though...cool guy that does some really cool cars for sure. Flaco
check out this link too. http://www.eyeballproducts.com/BlueEye/PBEIndexEng.html[/quote] ...almost everything about that link is sad
How about just the A arms? I really dig that car, but I hate to roll something that someone else built... just not my style
murder city devil, Id almost have been better off not seeing that link. It made me sick to my stomach seeing that ****! You can say to each his own, but that car already had the direction it was going, and meant to take, and then was beatin back to that ****. Wheres the justice. That WAS a *****in car!!!
ha! cris has it now? im gonna go check it out if he's still in arlington.......doin his friday night mcdonalds meets still.. flaco
I ran across this thread one time and could not find it again. Glad someone brought it back up.Thanks, BOBBY FORD
Wow, I just stumbled onto this thread and just finished the front airbag setup on my 53. I also 'bagged the stock front suspension and got the car to lay without dropped uprights. It looks like we had the same idea on the front control arms. The car looks awesome, I know it is an old thread but thanks for posting...and resurrecting it.
