No, it used to be pre 65. I'm not sure if this is new this year or last.

Yeah, it does suck. I think they are just trying to keep the number of entrants down. Back when it was pre 65, I submitted my 65 Buick and it went through OK. I may have said it was a 64 though. I can't remember. They looked practically the same. You can always try and what's the worst that can happen? They say no? I don't think they will pass up the entry fee. Every year I see cars that are past the cutoff year. Just my 2 cents. db

Be advised there will be a high percentage chance of the evenings being foggy, windy and cold. Also, no drag racing west of town by the strawberry fields :)

have any of you been able to contact Penny? I have left her two messages on her vm and havent heard from her.

  14. Most the time she don't check her messages. She just calls you back from her caller ID screen. If you have a "blocked" number, no call back

My caller id wasnt blocked either of the two times. I guess I will have to keep trying her, I can imagine shes getting a lot of phone calls. I need to ask her a few questions to help me decide if Im going to go and take my car or not.

  17. Yeah, I don't know what her deal is. But she WON'T check her messages. Just her ID screen. Weird. I'll ask her again to start checking them

the Strangers Car Club is going to be at the Holiday Inn. Looking forward to the new show location. Lets hope santa maria does not jack up the room rates as did paso.

Sunday July 13th is the 9th annual Car show and bbq. Mark the dates now. We are again, the day after the Asphalt Invite.

There was one motel that had Seriously raised the room rates...like more than tripled...needless to say we're not staying there. The Raddisons rates were reasonable and they told me that at this point they were only giving rooms to people that were coming for the show. Code word...PENNY

~I had a room at the Best Value Inn. I have a confirmation number too. But I guess the computer crashed! & I'm ass out.......I'm too old to sleep in My car, Too fat to sleep under it. and I'm NOT looking for a Broke-Back Mountain room sharing weekend. Maybe I can finely get a room at the Paso Robles Inn..LOL

Santa Maria has an airport, but it isn't very big. Puddle jumper size. Santa Barbara also has an airport. I haven't been there, but my sister's flying in there from TN., so it must be bigger than SM. SB is roughly an hour away.

  24. booked room tonight these guys have 11 rooms left Radisson (805 928 800-code word Penny)
