Chopped 50 Ford; anyone know him?

The end of October I sent him a moneyorder for some parts,and haven't heard from him since. He posted on 12-07-07 and hasn't since. Anyone know him or had problems? I told him I didn't need it till this month.......... but..........

 

I went through the same thing, just got my parts a couple days ago! Theres a lot of people hangin out there for there parts. All I can tell you is after numerous non awnsered PM's and emails, he finally came through. I'm sure you'll get your stuff, just don't know when!

 

You also waited for parts from Chopped50ford???

I've met him and he's a great guy... I don't think he's trying to rip you off... I've been waiting on a set of chevy skirts from him for about the same amount of time, I'm local to him and I haven't gotten a responce yet either. I think he's just very busy at the moment. I've never heard a bad word about him, and don't expect I ever will.

Is this the same guy we were talking about a while ago regarding door latches? If so, I gotta get a hold of him some time.

 

I met Norm last year when I bought a rolling ch***is from him. He seemed like a real nice but disorganized guy. Long story short he still owes me two carbs. I PMed him a couple times with no answer. So for me nice don't get it and I would not deal with him again. If you read this Norm you can forget about those carbs I don't need them anymore.

Busy?....LAZY is more like it. He's a good guy,but there's a limit. Especially when a deal is involved. SNAP OUT OF IT NORM!!!!!!

Stopped by to see him on Saturday afternoon and he was just starting to feel better, (was still in his PJs). I've been fighting the same thing for two weeks myself. He has always done right by me.

 

I got some stuff from him without any problems at all.

 

Ryan's been doing what he can for me as well for a deal i had with him that hasn't been finalized..
Although i'm not happy, if the man's sick i feel for him..Been there myself many of time's and some of those time's it has effected business transaction's..i have patience and can wait for what i've purchased for those reason's..
But, the one thing that's gotten under my skin about this whole
situation even more than not getting the item i bought is that in an email i received from Norm, the day i myself posted a question in the main forum asking if anyone knew him, i was told that my item had BEEN shipped (12-17) and on it's way to me..
Never got it... and that's were i got pissed..NOT because of the loss of money or not getting the item. But because i was told it was already sent.. I would have rather read, "hey man having some problems and havn't sent it out yet but i will soon...sorry" I'd have respect for that..

He may very well be a great guy, but even great guy's have a run of hard time's and most people will understand that..i would have..

Wow, Lots of hate mail and PM’s. Can I blame you? No. I would probably do the same thing.

I will say two things; Death and sickness. Amazing how overwhelming they can be.

Issue at hand: I’m sorry. Apparently there are a few things that are delinquent. My wife at the time was helping and was certain everything was shipped as it was supposed to.

Apparently there’s no truth to the matter. This is what we need to do. Please send me a PM of what you bought, your full ‘everyday/real life’ real name and address. If you purchased something, I still have it and I’ll get it out to you right away.

Please don’t send any more “Hate” mail. I get the picture. I’m a ****-bag, thief, jerk, ***hole…on and on, and on. I said Im sorry, and everything is going to work out.

If it does happen, ill box up your item, stick it on my porch and leave it up to you to come and get it; and I don’t care if you live in NY. Get another HAMB’er to come pick it up and take it to the mail box.

P.S: all the artwork that was purchases, was sent. Tony, especially yours. Did you get it?

Update:

Dash/Stude surround has been sent to owner.
****** Gears have been sent to the owner.

Artwork (all that I have sold) has been verified all sent. Those who did not recieve em' thus far PM'd me and I am going to send thier money back.

Reversed eye Spring - Just found it and it will go out tomorrow. Really sorry about this one.

It's unfortunate that some 'key' folks think im out to "F" the Hot Rod world and the folks on the HAMB. "F-bomb" emails sure as heck dont speed up the process.

 

Ryan, I never told you that the items were Shipped. I told you that I would take care of my business.

Here is a copy of the email I sent you Jan 10, 2008:

"Shoot. That is the last thing I want. I have been out sick for the past few weeks, and this is the first time I have had a chance to make it back to work. With work behind, the holidays and such; which basically I did without, I have not had a chance to even look in any other directions. In fact, the opportunity to get the chance to enter my roadster in GNRS is unachievable at this point. Haven't touched the car in 3 to 4 weeks. A huge dissapointment on my part. Ill check this evening for all my outstanding "orders". My wife was helping me and thought it was all completed. Can you post something quickly to indicate my situation. I'm not in the business to rip people, I think everyone I know on the board could confirm that. just bad timing in the past few months with the illness and family p***ing in late november. 1. I have Sent out the spring to waiting member;
2. Money has been sent back to member for missing arwork.

 

I don't know Norm, unless you were in a Coma, there is NO excuse for not taking care of business, or at least let the involved parties know what's up.

Contact between Norm and myself has been good, and he has taken care of his end of the deal with me.
He has refunded my money in full, and did so quickly once we made contact again.
