You couldn't handle her. There is a reason that redheads are stereotyped as they are.

Hey, why not run against traffic on Congress Saturday night!

Sounds like a blast but I'd like to hear from el Jefe'.
Maybe if you called it a "parade" it would pass?

I dont know about Austin, but San Antonio passed an ordinance making it ILLEGAL to ride any minibike or go cart on public streets

Man, the Schriner's don't have the clout they used to then, or this kind of silly ordinance would have been shot down by those fez wearin' dudes.

I can just see Rusty working on the car with a wrench in one hand and his other hand with a wrench on the minibike. I can just see Rusty on that pink minibike.

Now I'm going to have drag out the old minibike and dust it off , it hasn't run in years. Hope it fits in the car or maybe I'll tie it on the roof like the guy did in the movie Vanishing Point... Man-TEXAS IS ALWAYS GETTING BETTER !

Half of the cars driving down Congress aren't exactly "legal" . So why not us ? It would be a caravan of greasy people cruising minibikes. I would say keep the money out of it. It keeps it all fun and no one gets upset when they lose. I would hate to see a bunch of grown men arguing over a minbike race. Last place buys the winner an adult beverage. So get em going. I have two running already.

It should be a road course. Probably dirt and pavement depending on where it all goes down.

We've had a low-budget scooter build off contest going on here for the last few years. http://www.dirtbagchallenge.com I think a minibike race would be even better. [IMG]

Hey Guys I finally saw this post and I think it a great idea. We have an area out at the Expo center where we can stage the races and depending on how many bikes we have racing we can do some prelim heats and then on to the final eliminations. There is a super cool dirt outdoor arena where we could do a circle track thing that would be the perfect size for a ten lap race or we could possibly set up a road course out there, there's plenty of room, but from a spectator standpoint, the arena would be much better. We can do it Friday late afternoon/early evening before it gets dark or on Saturday afternoon.

The only way this doesn't strike me a goofy is if you guys run a quarter scale dirt oval...

I wonder how much power I would gain by milling the head, relieving the block and porting and polishing the ports on my 3HP briggs. Not that I would ever get off my lazy butt and do it. Just stirring the pot. I might take off the muffler though.

I have heard that you will make less power if you go in and start just hoggin them out, but there are plenty of guys out there reworking these things.

I would like to be the first one to say thanks for letting us do this at the show. Its going to make it more fun this way. I like the idea of the prelim heat and the final eliminations.

I think you would have less pileups on an oval track.

Only if you put the Natural light down, because I will be out of town almost every weekend between now and then.
