Yeah, but they didn't make their own tires for the Blastolene or a bunch of other parts like engine, etc. etc,. This guy made EVERYTHING himself from scratch at a small scale. Personally, I can appreciate the Blastolene stuff, but pretty ham fisted actually and kind of ugly. But, I think that is likely the point. This stuff is sort of the opposite of ham fisted. There are other people though who make small scale replicas of working engines that are more h.a.m.b. friendly like flatheads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBSdl_0EQpg
That dude has some serious issues! I'll bet he is a real ladys man when he goes out...oh yeah, he don't go out!
That's just crazy that he spent that much time building a fully operational "toy" he should have spent a little more money and just as much time building a full scale version if he wanted one bad enough.
I can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that went into that or what it would be worth if he sold it...That is just too amazing to comprehend...
Check out the work of Gerald Wingrove sometime- no working cars, but his craftsmanship was incredible!
Very cool, but they all sound like 4-stroke weedeaters. Its amazing what people can do when they have enough time and nothing better to do. Whoever built this one had the right idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3VVI6Auvys&NR=1 Ratty55
Absolutely the KING! He uses the same material as the real car, leather for leather, etc. Did you see his wife's art? Her stuff is just as incredible.
