I just wanted everyone to know how much I appreciate you all. You knew my father as "Joplin." Many of you saw him race his little blue J against Tommy's yellow J at the HAMB drags in 2003. After he died, a book was compiled for me of everyone's comments from this site. I can't tell you how much comfort I received from reading all the positive things everyone had to say about him. Beautiful flowers were sent to his funeral and donations were made in his honor to Crazy Horse Memorial. Thank you all. You made a difference. On a personal note, I am still looking for a Henry I can call my own. I am a full time student working two jobs, so there is not a lot of money or time. My dream may have to wait. But I would still like any advice from any friends out there.
Welcome. Keep plugging along with school. The time and cash I have to throw at rodding have both come from a degree and kicking *** straight out of school.
Welcome from Texas Daddy's Girl! I have to agree w/ Jonny o. get through school and kick some but out there. with time, you can make your dreams come true. Jay
I lost my dad when I was 13, so I kinda know what you're going though. Stay in school and get a degree, everything will follow and you'll be a better, stronger person for it. Welcome and keep the dream alive.
Welcome. It's great to know you're carrying on your dad's interests. Stay in school and the rest will come.
