    It's that time again...:D

9am this Sunday at The Skillet in Roswell. http://www.theskillet.com/

    Who's gonna be there?

I won't be there cause I'll be in Florida, but I figured I'd go ahead and start the roll call!

  2. Thanks man, I guess I was asleep at the wheel. Sorry you can't make it.

  3. Miss Kim wants to drive her new scoot - not too sure if she is ready to drive a stick yet. The seat is collapsed and she can only see the bottom of the dash - says there are wires hanging under there....

TELL US MORE ABOUT MISS KIMS ADVENTURES IN STICK DRIVING
THAT SHIFTER WAS A BIT LIKE A STICK IN A JAR OF JAM I COULD SEE GETTING LOST THERE

I LIKE ALL CAPS _ IT IS FUN

    Not this time,
Me and my first wife are driving up to Peoria,Illinois, leaving Friday A.M.,to haul a load of household goods.
My eldest boy,(23),got a job up there doing engineering work for Caterpillar.
He has found an apartment in the area, and hopefully will have a short sentence up there, and will be re-locating in about 6 months.

That should put his mechanical engineering ass back to this area, working in Griffin,Ga.

  13. Awww you're so sweet. But we all know you only came for the streak-o-lean.

Damnit Chuck. When are you bringing your ass up here for some GRITS!!!

I think it is defintely worth the 10 minute drive to go. We have had a good showing, looks like it will be warmer this weekend so maybe we can hang around and shoot the shit again this Sunday. That last too were either cold or wet.
This thing is growing pretty good we should have a full blown bi-weekly car show by summer.

P.S. Tell your first wife I said hello.

So how was the turn out? Did Grumpy Ed's 55 and Brad's Suburban show? The better question is if they showed up, who got pics?

  24. Good turn out. Funny thing though, they moved the tables way back around to the back.

I have a picture I'll try to get up later on tonight.

Yup--I made it. But late. Seems I have a weak starter, and it heat-soaks really easy. To make a short story long, 25 minutes waiting for the starter to work again, plus 10 minutes of doing a 23-point u-turn next to my shop after a failed bump-start attempt, and we were on the road.
It's 115 miles round trip for the Sub. We put over 250 miles on the truck yesterday, and got about 18mpg. Not too bad...and I know there's a little more to be had.

Suzi and Boy Wonder both had a real good time...we'll be back.

Sounds like it was the day for hotrod adventures, besides Ed's alt. and Brad's starter, my truck would'nt idle all day, and Keith left his Merc on the side of the road and drove the Lincoln:eek:.
Oh well....thats the fun of hotrodin'.
Glad to see all the new faces.
