The motor looks like a Honda 250-305cc??? I had a soap box derby that won best engineered car and when I was 16 some forty years ago & my dad gave it away for more room in the garage. Wish I had it now I would hang it from the ceiling. Post some more pics of it as it looks very well built. Good luck redoing it. Gary M

Ratmotor said his dad never did anything for him. When I got back home from the Marine Corps I ask my dad where my car was(50 fastback chevy with 56 corvette tail lights and other mods that was in primer) he said he sold it cause it looked like ****. I said how much did you get for it and he said $300. I ask him for the $300 so I could use it for a down payment on a new car and he said hell that 300's been gone. Seeing as how he was 6' 4" and weighed about 300 and I'm 5' 10" I decided not to persue the matter any farther.LOL:D
Hang on to that piece of your past. mabe you can p***it on down someday. Thanks BOBBY FORD

I'm glad your car is back with you where it belongs. Someday when you have kids you will be really happy to have it to share with them.
And if you don't ever have kids you will be happy to have something to keep you company when you are old, lonely and too senile to drive.:D
No, but seriously, that thing is rad.

I am glad to see the relationship is still intact, and you don't hold it against your dad for the haircut!
I am trying to be a dad like him, minus the haircut!

My dad kept 3 of our cars (2 of my brothers and 1 of mine) for more than 30 years now. I still don't have the barn to hang them in but looking back it is pretty cool to still have them.

The go-kart in this thread is over the top cool. I can't believe you sold it. Kind of reminds me of when I sold my box of over 2000 tops baseball cards from the 50s and 60s for 15 dollars back in 1975. My mom almost killed me at the time.

You know, Aaron, I feel bad. I make fun of you for being gay, and I never realized that you were made that way during your harsh upbringing. Had I know that it wasn't really a choice for you, man, I'da been much nicer all along. And to grow up with a brother that wouldn't even help you gocart around, jeez, I'm just as sorry as I can be. And no dingo either. That really just ****s.

    I still don't have a dingo though. I am still a loser.

That thing is sweet! I love it. wish my dad were that cool. Above is a concept sketch I did over a photo of the buck we started for my buddies son Mike. I was wanting to find some do***entation of a good frame design. Still looking for wheels, and lighting to go with the cl***y look.

    IDEAS?

    Bill
