Shed Built Chevy 400 SB, ****** Headers with a BW T10, Hurst Shifter, Hayes Clutch, Lakewood Blow Proof Bell, Ford 9" with 3:73 gear. Chromoly Tube front axle, '54 Chevy drums. No modern technology all old stuff.

  13. I second that notion. It could go into the B/S cl***, for Beater and Sleeper. I like the green and the gold, too.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

Really cool. Is that a speedway kit front axle? Are you happy with how things are going together with it? Good quality?

No I had the 53" axle made with '54 Chevy spindles. I can give you two shops in PA that will make the axle from chromoly. The Speedway springs are too short. Get the LONG truck or van springs. I did not modify my enginge cradle or steering box placement as most people do. That made things a little tricky. * A BIG Thanks to Rich Conklin of Radir Wheels and Tim Hain of Tim's Hot Rod Shop in Pottstown, PA for answering all the questions I had.

I have had several inquiries about the artwork on the hood. Artist is Greg Brown Roebling, NJ signkook@verizon.net phone 609-499-4058. This Cat can do anything from pinstriping to oil on canvas and everything in between.
