The Snakester and the EELCO Board was wicked fast and not only won the pack race but went on to take first at the district. The Patriot took a third and best of show. There definitely needs to be a HAMB derby race.
I've been a line judge for three years runnin. Here's a pic of me officiating wearin a Tingler original. The kids really liked it.

-My son and I are actually finishing up his this weekend. I have really had to throttle back, and remind myself that this is HIS car-and to let him build it how he wants...not, what I think will look the coolest, or be the fastest. I hear that some packs actually have Parent's races...just for this reason. So we can build our own cars. Cool *** pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Same here. My son did most of the sanding and drilling for weights. but I had a big part in the final paint finish. I defiantly felt guilty as well...

I got a lot of help tips from this web site: www.maximum-velocity.com

My daughter took 1st place out of 40 cars in our church race (same as pinewood derby, just for our AWANA club)

Some where along the way my son's axle got pushed in that his front wheel wouldn't turn, so he lost his first 2 races :(
My son and daughter have taken 1st and 2nd the last 2 years, plus the 1st this year.
