RLC member.............Sweet. I'm a moderator on the site, selamatsspeedlimit is the user name. Are you going to the Nationals or Cali? Leon
I used to do this at the dealership I used to work at. Another guy and I would finish all the work before lunch so we'd break out the Hot Wheels and go nuts. The boss hated us. My best was a Tahoe with a silver/blue fade paint job, huge wheels, tinted gl***, and a rolled rear pan. That was so much fun.
I have a few(dozen) drag buses somewhere around here....Even have a couple of custom painted beach bombs too(not the repro's either)
Do a search and there are a few posts already of customized Hotwheels here. Me, I'm not too fond of a moderator on the hotwheels site. He's got a fragile ego and he's on a power trip. Needless to say I don't get on that site much anymore. Not worth it when the mod won't let me post.
Nah, I've already talked with 3 other mods so far on there and told them the whole story. The mod on a power trip ain't changing his mind.
my uncle has been fitting a few to afx super g-plus ho slot car ch***is, the 3 rear cars in this pic were incomplete at the time but they are the plastic body hot wheels 57 chevy, they actually handle quite well and even stock super g plus ch***is goes hard!
very cool. I had thought that was a dead artform though (no offense). Just had not seen much of these around for a long time. I used to watch how much $$$$ the really good ones would bring on the bay. Was thinking about dabbling in it but then realized I don't have time for my real cars and it would be ****ty to make time for the toy ones. Hingeman, I used to have your ebay acoount bookmarked. I couldn't wait to see what you were going to come up with next. Didn't you do a 69 nova with opening doors and what not? (i think it was your creation). Man some of you got some talent to be working those small scale customs.
Nothing too fancy, just dropped a little and dipped in paint remover.....the MQQN discs are some s**** aluminum punched with a Roper Whitney punch.
